International Women's Day Coming

With International Women's Day just around the corner, we would love to hear your views on what you think are the most important issues preventing women and girls from achieving their full potential today and what can be done to drive positive change.

We invite you to spend a few minutes completing our IWD 2016 Survey. Printed copies will also be available at this Friday's TWF IWD Lunch for anyone coming to the event.

Here are some of the questions we would love to hear your thoughts on:

- Now more than ever, companies have woken up to the fact that attracting and retaining female talent is critical for inclusive and sustained growth, However, on the whole, HR policies and practices haven't evolved sufficiently to support women staying in the workforce, particularly women with children or elderly dependents. What changes to workplace policies do you think would lead to higher female attraction and retention rates?

- One-fifth of female employees say they have been sexually harassed at work in Hong Kong. What strategies do you think would be most effective in reducing sexual harassment in the workplace?

- What needs to happen for the media to stop objectifying, sexualising and diminishing women?

- It's generally accepted that we won't achieve gender balance without the engagement of men but what does this look like in practice? We would love to hear your ideas on what men can and should be doing on a practical basis to level the playing field.

As a special incentive to participate, the top 3 responses will receive a wonderful prize! The winning entry will enjoy a fabulous holiday stay while the runners-up will receive trios of delectable wine. Please submit your completed survey before March 7.
