The Future is Equality

It has been a month since The Women’s Foundation hosted our first ever Gender Equality Summit to mark our 15th Anniversary. The Summit helped conceptualise our goals and laid the groundwork for our next stage of advocacy and action to close the gender equality gap. We are now at a critical juncture for women’s empowerment and are determined to harness the momentum for greater gender equality in Hong Kong for the next 15 years.

Join us on November 7 to officially commemorate our 15th Anniversary at our annual Gala Dinner sponsored by Bloomberg, Cathay Pacific and Melco, featuring:

Rebecca McDermott, Bloomberg’s Head of APAC and EMEA Leadership and Talent Development.

JuJu Chan, martial artist and award winning actress (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny and Wu Assassins); Zia Zaman, Chief Innovation Officer, MetLife Asia & Chief Executive Officer, LumenLab; and Mallika Kapur, Senior Editor, APAC, Bloomberg for a forward looking conversation around the theme ‘The Future is Equality’, moderated by Tim Payne, Senior Partner - Head of Asia, Brunswick Group.

On the night, we will share updates on TWF’s programmes, stories that are heart-warming and will inspire bravery and change. Stay tuned for our announcement on the Luxury Draw and Silent Auction with enticing prizes in the next few days!

We have been at the forefront of efforts to improve the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong since our founding in 2004, and we’re using this milestone as an opportunity to recommit ourselves to the challenges ahead. We ask you to do the same; to translate conversations into action.

Let’s join together to make Hong Kong a city of opportunity and equality for all. Because together we can make it happen.

PS. Only a few seats left for our 15th Anniversary Gala Dinner. Please email Virginia.Li@twfhk.org for more information.
