  • "The sex ratio at birth in China is getting less skewed because of urbanisation"
  • "It is against the law to do a sex selected abortion in China but this is very hard to enforce"

  • "28 of the 31 provinces in China now have laws protecting women from domestic violence"
  • "Government sectors & CSOs - police, health system, courts - need to coordinate their response to domestic violence"

  • "China has one of the highest rates of women in the workforce but the income gap between men and women is growing"
