Bernard joined The Women’s Foundation in 2021 as the Development Director. In his role, he leads the development operation to drive long-term sustainable support from corporate, institutional and community partners. He is responsible for developing strategic partnerships for TWF programmes and for driving TWF communications strategy to raise awareness and secure funding support from the community.
Bernard is an experienced development professional and educational administrator with over 15 years of experience in higher education in Hong Kong and Singapore. He has mobilised support from the communities in Hong Kong and APAC to develop programmes that advance research, elevate the quality of teaching and learning, and create opportunities for deserving, talented students. Most recently, Bernard was responsible for spearheading a scholarship programme for underprivileged girls from the ethnic minority community in Hong Kong.
Bernard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University. He is an active member of CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) and CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) and has appeared as speaker at industry conferences. Bernard also participates in community activities organised by groups focusing on performing arts and sports in Hong Kong and Singapore.
