The Women’s Foundation is delighted to invite you to a special breakfast with Monique Villa, Thomson Reuters Foundation CEO, on March 19. Monique is a former journalist, a business leader and a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment. She was recently ranked in the World’s Top 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics by Ethisphere. 

Monique was appointed as CEO of Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2008. She is credited with transforming the organisation into a global corporate foundation, leveraging the skills, expertise, and values of Thomson Reuters to run groundbreaking programs which trigger change and empower people across the
world.

Over breakfast, Monique will share her experiences and the work of the Foundation in a Fireside Chat with Tara Joseph, Editor-in-charge at Reuters TV, Asia. The event will also include a screening of the trailer for "She Objects", a new documentary by The Women's Foundation examining the role of the media in creating and exacerbating stereotypes.
