About The Job
The Women’s Foundation is looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Programme Manager to join our team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects that promote gender equality and empower women and girls in Hong Kong. You will be part of a passionate team dedicated to driving change and making a difference.
Principal Responsibilities
Report directly to the Programme Director and help implement TWF’s community programmes and new community initiatives.
Collaborate with the team to formulate programme implementation plan and be responsible for its execution and reporting.
Provide support for TWF’s programme activities from coordinating with training partners on programme deliverables to evaluating the effectiveness of the programme and associated research studies.
Coordinate meetings, preparing agendas, producing presentations and compiling minutes for programme meetings.
Liaise and coordinate with corporate partners, training partners, grassroots organisations, NGOs, schools and education providers, service providers and programme participants, as well as volunteers to ensure the smooth running and output quality of TWF’s community programmes.
Assist with TWF’s fundraising events and other initiatives alongside other staff members, volunteers and interns
Support TWF’s Community Programme Team with its responsibilities and duties as may be required.
Handle other ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Relevant undergraduate university from a leading academic institution.
Minimum of 4+ years of project management or organising activities experiences.
Experiences in organising and building communities, such as alumni network, is preferred.
Identify with TWF’s goals and values of gender equality, inclusion and women and girl empowerment. Good understanding of women’s and gender issues.
Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese is a must).
Experience in operating social media is an advantage.
Self-starter, good team player, enjoy working as a team, be able to set priorities and be flexible, able to work independently with a strong attention to detail.
