The Allies Circle
The Allies Circle was founded in 2024 by a group of visionary philanthropists, leaders, educators and influencers, dedicated to a gender-equal Hong Kong. More than donors, they are changemakers, shaping a future where women and girls can thrive, opportunities are equal, and barriers to advancement no longer exist. United by a shared purpose, Allies Circle patrons come together to drive impact. By supporting TWF's vital fundraising efforts and deepening their understanding of the critical issues at hand, they help power the growth of TWF's research, advocacy, and life-changing educational programmes. Together, they're creating a legacy of opportunity and fairness for future generations.
The Allies Circle is an opportunity to be at the leading edge of change, not only to give, but also to create a lasting and positive effect on Hong Kong.
We invite patrons to make an annual investment towards a gender equal future. These generous contributions will help power the long-term growth and development of TWF's research, advocacy, and life-changing programmes including:

Allies Circle events run year round and allow patrons to deepen their understanding and engagement of the critical issues at hand. New patrons are welcome to join us at any time during the year. Patrons are encouraged to co-create a Speaker Series with TWF and host their own fundraising events to share their stories, knowledge, and inspire conversations within their own sphere of influence.

The Allies Circle believes in empowerment through philanthropy and community leadership. We are advancing gender equality from the classroom to the boardroom.
Why This Matters
Women are under-represented in leadership, face disproportionate caregiving burdens, and experience gender biases and pay gaps as well as greater vulnerability to sexual violence. Addressing these challenges represent significant opportunities to boost Hong Kong's overall economic and social well-being.

The Women’s Foundation exists to promote the full and equal participation of women and girls in all aspects of Hong Kong society, by engaging in research, programmes, education and advocacy to drive measurable change. Our commitment to long-term holistic change includes engaging individuals of all genders, including men and boys, as allies.
I can better put myself in women's shoes and understand other people's perspectives. As a Young Ally, I will definitely use my knowledge to actively support and advocate for gender equality and women's empowerment, particularly marginalised groups.
TWF provides a well-structured programme with helpful resources and tools that empower women to grow, gain confidence and build a supportive network of other professional women from across Hong Kong.
The Male Allies Programme has been instrumental in terms helping both me and my colleagues gain important knowledge and to be more proactive in relation to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion topics within the firm. The Boardroom Series offers an empowering opportunity for women striving to ascend to the boardroom, provide guidance on how to embark on this transformative journey.
