Evaluation Study on TWF Life Skills Programme 2012-2013

An independent impact assessment of TWF's Life Skills Programme which aims to instil critical life skills, resilience and hope in adolescent girls and boys from mainly under-privileged families.

Conducted by The Social Work Department of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the study which includes quantitative and qualitative assessment found that an overwhelming majority of the participants rated both the Programme and the performance of the instructors positively. Participants also experienced substantial sustainable improvements in their self-esteem, found greater meaning in their lives, felt themselves to be more socially adaptable, more capable in financial management, and more likely to demonstrate critical thinking.
