While there is ever more focus on the importance of gender diversity in the workplace, there is still much that needs to be done. Women's representation on Boards of Directors in Hong Kong lags behind a number of other economies. Hong Kong's gender pay gap is wider than that of Singapore, Australia, the UK and the US.

PwC Hong Kong and TWF recently released a report looking at the current state of gender diversity in the Financial Services (FS) sector in Hong Kong, in partnership with an informal group of women chief executives from the FS industry in Hong Kong. The survey looked at the views from both an organisational standpoint and from the perspective of their employees, and revealed that there are a number of preconceptions about gender diversity that need to be tackled before more substantial change can occur.

Join us as we explore findings coming out of the research, including insights into:
-          Why women leave a company
-          What actions in the workplace drive gender parity
-          Perceptions on the gender gap in pay
