Join The Women's Foundation on March 2 to mark International Women’s Day
Each year, TWF commemorates International Women’s Day by highlighting the achievements of women and the need to press for progress on gender diversity—including combatting gender stereotypes, promoting women’s leadership, and empowering disadvantaged women and girls in Hong Kong.
For our 2018 International Women’s Day Lunch, we are delighted to feature women who are the masterminds behind some of Hong Kong’s most celebrated restaurants and dining concepts— Asia’s Best Female Chef 2017, May Chow of Little Bao and Happy Paradise, Asia’s Best Female Chef 2015 Vicky Lau of Tate Dining Room, Butler Luxury Caterer and Poem Patisserie and Hong Kong’s pop-up dining queen Mina Park of Sook. Their creativity and entrepreneurialism have enabled them to rise to the top in a profession where the most celebrated chefs are often men. Susan Jung, Senior Food and Wine Editor of the South China Morning Post, will join us to discuss their journeys to the top of their field and efforts to drive change for women in the restaurant industry.
Early bird prices of HKD35,000 Gold, HKD29,000 Silver and HKD1,900 Individual expire on January 19. All proceeds will go towards TWF's research, community programmes and initiatives to improve the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong.
