The City University of Hong Kong is a leading player in academic endeavours to introduce positive psycholoy and positive education concepts to Hong Kong. CityU partnered with TWF to conduct a study on the correlation between the psychosocial well-being of secondary school students in TWF's Life Skills Programme and the importance placed by participants on hope, virtues and attention to positive information. CityU's research findings overwhelmingly found that Hong Kong should develop a comprehensive programme to strengthen teenagers’ resilience, particularly the enhancement of hope and virtues training as well as cognitive tools to increase their attention to positive information.
